Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data entered in the form, the IP address and the browser user agent string for spam detection.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be transmitted to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are using it. Gravatar's privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/
After you approve a comment, your profile picture will be publicly visible in connection with the comment.
media
When uploading images, embedded location data (EXIF GPS) should be avoided. Visitors could extract this data from images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, your name, email address and website may be stored in cookies to facilitate later entries (storage period: up to 1 year).
When you access the login page, we set a temporary cookie to check the browser's cookie capability; it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the browser.
After logging in, we set additional cookies to save login information and display options. Login cookies remain for up to 2 days, and display options for up to 1 year. If you select "Stay logged in," your login remains active for up to 2 weeks. Login cookies are deleted when you log out.
When editing or publishing a post, another cookie may be set that stores the post ID (valid for up to 1 day).
Embedded content
Posts may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content behaves as if you were visiting the external website directly. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, and employ third-party tracking—especially if you have an account and are logged in.

Third country transfers
If service providers are used outside the EEA (e.g. in the USA), the transmission is based on suitable guarantees (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses or adequacy decision). We will provide details upon request.
Storage period
Comments and associated metadata are stored indefinitely to automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments.
For registered users (if available), we store the information stored in their user profile. Users can view, change, or delete their personal data at any time (except for their username). Administrators can also view and edit this information.
Your rights (Art. 15–21 GDPR)
You have the right to Information, Correction, deletion, Restriction of processing, Data portability as well as Contradiction against processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e)/(f) GDPR.
You also have the right consents given to revoke at any time with future effect.
